These terms describe the intended use and practical limits of the current Mahjong Study edition.

Educational and reference use
Mahjong Study provides tools for preparing teaching materials and reference lessons. It is not an authoritative rules, scoring, strategy or tournament-adjudication engine. Verify important examples against the ruleset, card edition or table agreement you actually use.
Your material
You are responsible for the lesson text, images, logos, notes and other material you add or distribute, including having the permission needed to use and share it. Do not assume an export is student-safe merely because it was generated by the site.
Local storage and cloud backups
Local browser storage is the primary editing workspace, and optional cloud backup is an additional manual copy rather than a guaranteed archival service. Keep your own exported backups of material you cannot afford to lose. Browser data can be lost locally, and third-party cloud service availability can also change.
Third-party services
Optional authentication and cloud backups can depend on Google and Supabase, and reference pages can link to external rule sources. Those services are operated under their own terms and policies. Availability of a third-party service is not controlled by Mahjong Study.
Availability and changes
Features, supported traditions and reference content may change as the project develops. When a change materially affects how account or lesson data is handled, the related product text and privacy information should be updated with it.
